June 5th is our tentative date for our End of Year Celebration This Week in ELA: Prefixes: mis, mid, non, micro Facts and Details Writing Persuasive Statements/Opinion Pieces This week in Math: Geometry and Fractions-Indentifying shapes by the number of angles and sides. In Social Studies: This Unit will discuss citizenship. We will talk about and provide examples of ways we can be good and productive citizens. We will also dicuss how people become US citizens. In STEM/Science: Weather-Types of weather Reminders: Your child should be writing down their homework each day (from the board) in their Agenda. They will have ELA "Family Times", Reading Log, and usually and Math practice sheet. Homework should be turned in Tuesday-Friday mornings unless there is a special circumstance. The Reading Log should be completed throughout the week and turned in on Friday. Homework is worth 10 points for the week in ELA and 10 points in Math.

We will understand how sounds are produced and carried. We will understand frequency and pitch and how they affect sounds we hear.
